Mindful Living Counseling Orlando: We’re Moving!

Orlando Therapist: Sharing our New Office Location

By: Lauran Hahn, LMHC

Many of our clients, have been traveling to Maitland, Winter Park, or doing strictly online therapy to work with Orlando Therapists at Mindful Living Counseling. Today, we are very excited to announce that we are all moving into one location together in downtown Orlando! We are thrilled to invite you into our new space which is located in the Day building right off of East Robinson Street.

Many of the offices in our new building overlook the beautiful Lake Eola and we are surrounded by some great places to eat, shop, and visit. Although downtown Orlando can be a busy area, we want you to know our new location does have reserved parking for our clients! So we look forward to making this our new home and sharing this new space with you soon. While we prepare for our big move, we wanted to share some of our new go-to spots to check out when visiting downtown Orlando.

Our new address is

605 E Robinson St. Suite #710 Orlando, FL 32801

5 Things to Visit When You’re in Downtown Orlando:

  1. Take a Stroll Around Lake Eola.

Just a few steps from our office you can take a relaxing stroll around Lake Eola Park! Enjoy some fresh air and clear your mind before or after your session. Now if you’re up for a fun adventure check out the rental swan boats. The City of downtown Orlando will rent you pedal-powered swan boats on Lake Eola so you can view the park from the lake and enjoy the fountain up close.

While you’re in the area you can also visit the Lake Eola Bandshell. The Bandshell which is located near the water is painted rainbow theme in honor of Pulse victims. This memorial honors the lives of the 49 people lost in the mass shooting at the gay nightclub Pulse. Downtown Orlando continues to honor those lives lost with this beautiful memorial.

2. Drink a delicious cup of Coffee!

Sometimes you need to treat yourself to a good cup of coffee! We highly recommend grabbing some from downtown Orlando’s best coffee bar, Foxtail Coffee Bar. Foxtail is a great spot to relax with a good book, get some work done or enjoy some alone time.

Therapy Orlando. Coffee Shop to visit in our new area.

This coffee shop offers a variety of espressos, cold brews, teas, brewed coffees, and hot chocolate. Now if you’re feeling a sweet treat you need to enjoy a gluten-free oatmeal cream pie cookie, hazelnut doughnuts, chocolate chip cookie, or a variety of fresh-baked muffins.

3. Buy that Book You’ve Wanted.

All the therapists at Orlando Mindful Living Counseling enjoy reading a good book! When we’re not with our clients we love visiting Barnes and Noble just a few blocks away from downtown Orlando. This book store has a large variety of romance, thriller, self-help, and mystery novels. We’ve also made a list of some of our favorite books for you to check out next time you are in need of a suggestion. This book store is great for meeting a local friend for coffee or stopping by before you go into your session!

4. Treat Yourself to Artisanal Ice Cream!

Who doesn’t love ice cream? If you are an ice cream enthusiast like us, you need to visit The Greenery Creamery. The Greenery Creamery is Orlando's first artisanal ice cream boutique and we’re so lucky to have it so close to us! They are a delicious sweet treat that serves traditional and plant-based ice cream. When you visit you’ll be able to try different flavors as they are always rotating so each visit will be a treat!

5. Enjoy a Nice Meal.

There’s no better feeling than enjoying a delicious meal. Here are some of our favorite places to grab a bite nearby our new downtown Orlando office location! We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
