Orlando Therapist
Paulette Arboleda
Hi there! My name is Paulette Arboleda, a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. As an Orlando therapist, I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, trauma, and life transitions.
Feeling Lost, Overwhelmed, or Disconnected From Yourself?
Life doesn't always unfold the way we imagined. Sometimes anxiety feels overwhelming. Sometimes you're navigating the emotional impact of trauma, adjusting to a new chapter of life, or wondering who you are after years of putting everyone else first. Whether you're moving through pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, exploring your identity, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, you don't have to face it alone.
I work with adults who are ready to reconnect with themselves and create a life that feels authentic. I have a special passion for supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and other life transitions, as well as LGBTQ+ individuals looking for a place where they can feel deeply seen, understood, and accepted.
Many of the people who begin therapy with me feel lost. They've spent so much time meeting expectations, caring for others, or trying to be who they believe they should be that they've lost touch with what feels true for them. They often feel anxious, overwhelmed, and uncertain about where they belong. Somewhere along the way, they've forgotten that it's okay to change, make mistakes, choose a different path, or simply take up space as they are.
From the moment you walk into my office, I want therapy to feel like a place where you can simply be human. You don't have to perform, have everything figured out, or worry about being judged. Together, we'll approach your story with curiosity instead of criticism, creating space for honesty, growth, and self-compassion. My style is warm, genuine, and collaborative, blending compassion, humor, and gentle honesty to help you feel safe enough to explore every part of your story.
My approach is helping you trust yourself again
I believe healing isn't about becoming someone different. It's about reconnecting with the person you've always been beneath the anxiety, fear, and expectations you've carried for so long. I help clients slow down, look beyond the surface, and approach themselves with curiosity instead of judgment.
Together, we'll explore what is serving you, what may no longer fit, and what healing looks like during this season of your life. Therapy is a collaborative process where your values, goals, and lived experiences guide our work, helping you make choices that feel authentic to who you are.
As therapy progresses, many clients begin to trust themselves more, set healthier boundaries, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and self-compassion. My hope is that you'll leave therapy feeling empowered to move through life with authenticity, resilience, and a deeper connection to yourself.
Healing Happens Through Connection
My passion for becoming a therapist began when I was 14 years old. Someone close to me experienced one of the hardest seasons of their life, and afterward thanked me simply for being present so they didn't have to feel so alone. That moment stayed with me and sparked a lifelong curiosity about people, the human experience, and the healing that becomes possible when we're truly seen and supported.
What I love most about being a therapist is witnessing the relationship people build with themselves. I have the privilege of watching clients replace self-criticism with self-compassion, experience greater calm in both their minds and bodies, and develop a deeper trust in themselves. Seeing people embrace their own humanity is one of the greatest rewards of my work.
If there's one thing I hope you take with you, it's this: being in a difficult season doesn't mean there isn't a way forward. Sometimes the darkest moments become invitations to slow down, honor the complexity of being human, and listen to what needs our attention. You don't have to force your way through healing or have everything figured out before asking for help. Healing begins when we offer ourselves the same grace and compassion we so freely give to others. If you're ready to begin that journey, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
