Many of the clients I work with come to therapy feeling exhausted from trying to cope on their own. Some feel stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand. What is it like to Work With me?
I work with children, teens, adults, and parents who are navigating anxiety, social anxiety, emotional overwhelm, trauma, life transitions, and challenges related to confidence, identity, or relationships. I also enjoy supporting parents who want to understand better and connect with their child.
Being in session with me is often described as warm, grounding, and collaborative. My goal is for you to feel genuinely seen, understood, and safe to be yourself. I balance compassion with gentle guidance, and our work together often includes moments of insight, reflection, humor, and practical tools you can use outside of session. I meet you where you are and help you move forward at a pace that feels supportive and empowering.
I use an integrative, client-centered approach that blends structure with flexibility. My work draws from CBT, ACT, trauma-informed care, and parts-based approaches, along with mindfulness and somatic strategies. I tailor therapy to each person rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, focusing on helping you understand yourself with curiosity instead of criticism. I am also actively training in EMDR and plan to integrate it into my work as appropriate.
Over time, clients often notice they feel more grounded, confident, and emotionally resilient. Many develop a stronger sense of self, improved coping skills, and a greater ability to navigate stress and relationships with self-compassion. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you learn to trust yourself and feel empowered, knowing you can handle difficult moments when they arise.
