Hello! I’m Amy Enkling, LMHC, an Orlando therapist. I specialize in working with adults struggling with anxiety, trauma, and stress. I see clients virtually and in person. Scroll down to read more about how I can help.

Do you feel like you're doing everything you can to move forward, but somehow keep finding yourself stuck in the same patterns?

Maybe anxiety keeps you caught in cycles of overthinking, relationships feel more difficult than they should, or you're left wondering why certain emotions seem so overwhelming. Even with insight and self-awareness, meaningful change can sometimes feel out of reach.

I work with adults who are looking to understand themselves better, navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, and create lasting change. Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck while building practical tools and deeper self-awareness to help you move toward a life that feels more fulfilling and aligned.

Clients often describe me as warm, engaging, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are without judgment.

While I take my work seriously, I also believe there is room for humor, authenticity, and genuine connection throughout the therapeutic process.

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and insight-oriented.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches to help clients understand the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

I am also trained in Brainspotting, a powerful therapeutic approach that can help process emotional experiences that may feel difficult to access through traditional talk therapy alone. When appropriate, I incorporate Brainspotting into our work to support deeper emotional healing and processing.

My goal is to help you feel more grounded, self-aware, and equipped to navigate life's challenges with confidence and self-trust.

Why This Work Matters to Me

I can personally relate to the experience of anxiety and how it can quietly shape the way we think, feel, and move through the world. For much of my life, I experienced patterns of overthinking, rumination, and difficulty letting go internally, even when things appeared fine on the surface.

I also understand how early experiences and relationships can continue to influence the way we respond to stress, emotions, and connection in the present. My own experiences with therapy, including the profound impact of Brainspotting, deepened my appreciation for the healing process and reinforced my belief that meaningful change is possible, even when patterns feel longstanding.

What I love most about being a therapist is helping people move toward a more empowered and meaningful life. It is incredibly rewarding to witness clients gain insight, reconnect with themselves, and discover new ways of navigating challenges with greater confidence and compassion.
